Jr. Revit Modeler

Revit Modelers are integral members of our design and construction teams, positioned to grow into future BIM Managers. They are responsible for creating accurate, high-quality 2D and 3D models, assembly drawings, details, and bills of materials for large-scale, iconic commercial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of building systems, spatial coordination, and construction processes, as well as advanced proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

Revit Modelers assist in translating conceptual designs into precise, constructible documentation, preparing plans and layouts for equipment, systems, and space allocations. They collaborate closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure models are coordinated, up to date, and aligned with project requirements.

In addition to technical modeling, Revit Modelers play a vital role in quality control, clash detection, and generating detailed documentation that supports fabrication, installation, and construction processes. This role offers a clear career path into BIM management, providing exposure to project planning, coordination, and leadership responsibilities.

Position Responsibilities

  • Create and design for custom made-to-order requirements, using BIM software.

  • Develop accurate layouts, assembly drawings, details and bills of materials.

  • Prepare plans and layouts for equipment or system arrangements and space allocation.

  • Take direction from Sr. engineers and/or group Presidents and Executives to research drawings, catalogs, sketches, etc., to develop detailed dimensioned AutoCAD drawings.

  • Perform detailed design and documentation work.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years REVIT experience

  • Recent graduate with experience electrical design for the application and distribution of lighting and power systems.

  • Basic understanding of how AutoCAD works

  • Familiarity with NavisWorks for 3D design is a plus.

  • Ability to read MEP drawings and draw floor plans, sections and details

  • Ability to adhere to schedules.
