

Project Engineer
The Project Engineer plays a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of complex, multi-million-dollar commercial construction projects. As a key member of the project team, the Project Engineer works directly under the guidance of Project Managers, gaining exposure to every stage of the project lifecycle. This role serves as a training ground for future Project Managers, offering hands-on experience in both the technical and management aspects of construction.

This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Project Engineers collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, design teams, and internal departments, gaining invaluable experience in coordination and problem-solving. The role is ideal for individuals who are eager to build a career in construction management, as it provides a clear pathway to advancement into a Project Manager position.
Position Responsibilities

Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to jobsite by working with purchasing department.

Assist Project Managers with RFI’s, Material Submittals, Change Orders, Scheduling, estimating, or any other tasks needed.

Regular dialogue with labor superintendents, project foremen and office staff.

Build long-term customer relationships by consistently meeting expectations and offering innovative solutions.

Provide consistent feedback and reports to Project Managers.

Additional duties as determined by Project Managers.
Preferred Qualifications:

Strong interest in Electrical contracting, project management (assistant management).

Internship and/or experience with an Electrical Contractor preferred.

General understanding of architectural, structural drawings (Mechanical & Electrical)

Drafting skills with Revit experience a plus.

Degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, Electrical Engineering highly preferred.

Electrical field experience is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written skills.

Ability to work independently as well as in team environment.

Familiarity with Accubid estimating system or similar systems.
