Summary:

Position Responsibilities:
  • Identify, develop and maintain customer relationships with current and prospective general contracting customers.
  • Lead the process of forecasting, developing and securing electrical construction opportunities that meet SASCO's minimum standards.
  • Direct the team responsible for presenting opportunities to SASCO project groups and ensure the delivery of accurate project information and documents.
  • Oversee the tracking of all projects that are designated for bidding or presentation and the updating of project information on an on-going basis.

  • Manage the overall financial reporting function for Electek, whose business is to provide that service to it’s customer(s) Sasco and their related companies and foundations. Sasco, for one is a 300 million a year company (46 years old) with headquarters in Southern California and offices in Northern California, Seattle, and Shanghai. It is no small operation and has very advanced systems and an impeccable calling card.
  • Hire, fire and train to assemble and maintain an outstanding staff of “A” players.
  • Prepare and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all management and financial reports that are used to measure all aspects all of the businesses.
  • Manage various companies stock plans, deferred compensation, and bonus plans.
  • Persistent questioning and analysis of Electek’s business systems and operations.
  • Think outside of the box to develop new / revised measurement tools.


Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive financial experience with ability to work in a hands-on manner in a stressful environment. 10+ years of executive level leadership for a large company (revenues $200 million plus) required.
  • This person must understand that to succeed in this position it is imperative that they are a good listener and learner and have excellent intelligence. These are important points as marked by the repetition in this message.
  • Exceptional natural intelligence and the incurable desire to be at the top of the ladder.
  • Proven track record as a high level achiever, through executive leadership.
  • Possession of a CPA designation or very strong accounting skills and a strong tax background are desirable.
  • Superior analytical and presentation skills in order to successfully present company financial performance to a demanding audience, including the Board.
  • Must possess executive demeanor.
  • Extensive knowledge of corporate accounting and reporting policies.
