DESIGN ASSIST/BUILD PROCESS
Upfront communication and coordination is essential during the design process. SASCO's Electrical Engineers will attend programming/design meetings and actively coordinate with vendors to offer an alternative method of delivery for accurate and complete construction drawings. Continued coordination between the Engineer, Project Manager, and Foreman will enhance the value and constructability of the project.
SASCO's in-house Engineering and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) department, including registered Professional Electrical Engineers, Sr. Designers, and CAD Designers, have experience on several types of projects. These projects include commercial, high-tech, data center, high-rise, mixed-use, condominium/residential, retail, lab/hospital, historic, school, and government/agency projects. Our Engineering Department sets high standards for accuracy and customer service.
SASCO also has in-house Registered Communications Distribution Designers, Network Transport System Specialist, Certified Telecommunications Project Managers, Lighting Certified Qualified Professionals, and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED A.P.).
The first step in prudent design is to properly coordinate and assist the owner in creation of the design criteria. Once the design criteria are established, preliminary load calculations and single-line power and riser diagrams can be created.
SASCO provides the appropriate electrical infrastructure required to meet the owner's requirements today and for future build-out. Load calculations will be performed based on the owner's design criteria, vendor coordination, and the National Electric Code.
The SASCO engineering team has extensive experience designing complete power and lighting systems in-house. We also utilize lighting designers to provide a seamless power and lighting system. Coordination of the data systems has been with our in-house low voltage systems group. We are well versed in providing a complete system design.
SASCO is proactive in providing engineering studies and life cycle cost studies to ensure the most efficient design today and for the future.
The combination of good design and proper coordination between the key members of the SASCO team will provide synergy that ultimately allows for the lowest installed cost and the greatest value possible for the owner.
